According to i-D Magazine, “Scott Campbell describes the first tattoo he gave Marc Jacobs (yes, that Marc Jacobs) as, ‘a sweet little drawing of dogs on his arm.’” (i-D).
Flash forward almost 15 years — and several Scott Campbell x Louis Vuitton collaborations later — his luxury Cannabis brand Beboe was born.
Co-founded with former Dolce and Gabbana executive Clement Kwan, Beboe is often referred to as the “Hermes of Marijuana,” (NY Times) and has been whole-heartedly embraced by Hollywood’s A-List.
Barneys and a New CBD Beauty Line
Beboe also happens to be the flagship brand inside Barneys’ shop-in-shop called “The High End” in Beverly Hills.
In April of this year, Beboe also launched their CBD Beauty and Skincare line, Beboe Therapies — their best-selling facemask collection + serum is flying off store shelves + via their own site.
Scott’s high-low design-forward approach not only helped propel tattoo culture into the upscale mainstream — he’s now doing the same for Cannabis and CBD.
He might just be this category’s very own Virgil Abloh.
